The Prince And The Prisoner 02
As Claire and I left the room to let Zen have her rest, I told the guard to not to let anyone else in so she would be safe. When we got to an empty corridor, Claire stopped in front of me and turned to give me a devilish grin. "You like her." She bluntly taunted.
"I do not!" I denied. Sure, I found her somewhat attractive, but that didn't mean I liked her.
"Then why are you blushing?" She smirked. I looked away in embarrassment.
"That's nothing." I mumbled.
"Come on, kid," a ghastly male voice echoed through the empty hall, "even I noticed how you were looking at her." In a small puff of black smoke, a gengar rematerialized, sitting on window ledge, grinning from ear to ear. "I thought it was pretty obvious. Besides, you two make a cute couple."
"And where've you been, Daniel?" Claire questioned. "These days it seems I only see you when something's up. What's going on?"

"Hurry up, you dumb, limbed bitch!" The arbok guard escorting me yelled. "I thought legs were supposed to make you faster." I swear, if my hands weren't chained behind my back, I'd use my sharp claws to tear him apart, but I've seen what happened to a prisoner who tried to fight back. Chapter One: Meeting Nicole
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside my cave. It was late march, so it was finally getting warmer out. "Sleeping late again?" a flaffy remarked from the other side of the cave, shaking her head in disappointment.
"Shut up, sis." I mumbled after bringing a yellow paw up to shield my eyes from the light of the morning sun. Another paw reached for a pile of berries I kept by my nest only to come up empty.
"You ran out of berries last night," my sister said, "remember?"
"Thanks for the reminder, Vivian," I sarcastically yawned, getting up and rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. I wandered out of my home and started making my way towards the nearby berry grove that grows by the stream. After about ten minutes of walking, I got to the grove and started picking Oran berries to eat. Personally, I prefer Cheri berries, but those are harder to come by in this part of the forest. As I ate I let my thoughts wander since I was safe from predation wh
